NAB announces changes to home loan variable interest rates
NAB has today announced the following changes to its home loan variable interest rates, effective Thursday 31 January 2019:
- Variable rates for owner occupiers making principal and interest repayments will increase by 0.12% p.a.
- Variable rates for owner occupiers making interest only repayments will increase by 0.16% p.a.
- Variable rates for residential investors making principal and interest repayments will increase by 0.16% p.a.
- Variable rates for residential investors making interest only repayments will increase by 0.16% p.a.

Note: Line of credit, Overseas Borrower and SMSF Home Loans variable interest rates will increase by 0.16% p.a., effective Thursday 31 January 2019.
Special Offers
From Thursday 31 January 2019, NAB’s Base Variable Rate product special offer for new owner occupier, principal and interest lending will increase by 0.12% p.a. to 3.99% p.a.
Pricing for new lending
Rates will be updated on Thursday 31 January 2019. Rates are subject to change.
Pipeline applications
Variable rate loan accounts which are not yet drawn will receive the new rate at the effective date or at loan drawdown, whichever is the later. No action is required for any loans already in progress.
